The harness
Will it stop the pulling straight away?
It changes the direction of the force from the first walk, so pulling stops working. How fast the habit fades depends on the dog and on you rewarding a loose lead.
Is it cruel or does it pinch?
No. Nothing tightens as your dog pulls, the straps stay where you set them. The turn comes from where the lead attaches, not from pressure.
Can I still clip on the back?
Yes, there is a ring on both. Use the front one while you are working on the pulling, the back one once the lead stays slack.
Personalisation
Stitched or printed?
Stitched into the side panel, so it survives washing and does not peel. It is also why we make each one after you order.
How much fits on there?
Ten characters for the name, fifteen for the number. Longer names get shortened, so message us first if yours is close.
Can I change the name or number after ordering?
Only if we have not started stitching. Mail us within a few hours of ordering and we will usually catch it.
Sizing
How do I measure?
Widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Snug, not tight: two fingers should slide under the tape.
Between two sizes?
Take the larger. Every strap adjusts down, none of them adjusts up.
Wrong size arrived?
We swap it: tell us the right size, we stitch the name into that one and send it over, postage on us. Prefer a refund? You have 30 days, personalised or not.
Delivery and returns
When does it ship?
We stitch the name after you order, so it leaves us in 2-3 working days. You get a tracking link the moment it does.
Can I return a personalised harness?
Yes. We could hide behind the rule that custom-made goods are exempt, but a harness you cannot try on your dog first is a big ask. Thirty days, stitched name and all, for any reason.
